About This Class:

Welcome to our Textured Artwork workshop, where creativity meets tactile expression! Join us on a transformative artistic journey as we guide you through the process of creating two captivating pieces of textured art. 

Experiment with texture and tools, and learn different techniques to bring your two artworks to 3D life. Discover how texture adds depth, dimension, and visual interest to your artwork. Through hands-on demonstrations and step-by-step instructions, you'll learn various techniques to manipulate materials and create mesmerising textures on each your canvas.
As a bonus too we will show you how to create your own frame to really elevate your pieces. As alwayts our aim is teach you how to replicate the crafts easily at home so we will not be using any special machinary to teach you this. Please note the frame is not included in the price.

Do I need to Bring Anything:
No, its all provided for you to keep. You will make 2 lovely pieces of textured art. Your artwork will be ready to paint at home only as you will need it to set prior to painting. 

All our workshops include unlimited tea, coffee and we always have plenty of cake on offer at every workshop and vegan friendly biscuits. If you require gluten free sweet treats please let us know! 

Punch Needle crafting is a very relaxing and therapeutic craft, and now we have a Christmassy twist to it! Punch needle is a cross between embroidery and rag rug latch hooking and in our punch needle class you'll learn how to create two the different effects at the same time with your tool, whilst making adorable baubles!  

During the session we will show you how to make the smaller hoop (red one in the picture) just so you can get the hang of it and then we will give you the full instructions on how to make the larger bauble (the teal one). We are also on hand with any questions you may have whilst you do this bauble.

We will be using a punch needle tool and wooden embroidery hoop with suitable fabric for needle punch stretched over it. This is suitable for all ages - you can easily do it with children as the tool is not too sharp and its a wonderful craft for children to take part in.

Do I Need to Bring Anything:
No, all the yarn you need to make your own decorations is included as well as everything else you need is included in a kit with templates that you will take home for more needle punching fun.

Another great beginner friendly project if you have never crocheted before! Learn how to crochet online with Tea and Crafting and at the same time, crochet your own Winter Headband. These headbands are perfect for those days where it's not quite cold enough for a super chunky hat, but you can still feel a chill in the air (plus you can keep your hair in a ponytail all day long!)

After our crochet session you'll feel like a pro; you’ll have learned some crochet basics that will more than put you in good stead for your new found crochet hobby, and then we will show you how to sew together your headband so it has that perfect twist right at the front.

About This Class:
Paper is not just about pretty stationary, now it's about stunning florals too. These paper anemones are not just a therapeutic craft but also make for a beautiful home accessory (and they're great for the not-so green fingered amongst us).

We will go through the process step-by-step, with lots of helpful tips along the way. Giving you the templates you need to make both flowers so you can continue making more at home.
During the class you will make a paper anemone on a stem or attached to a clip or brooch, or the option to make a Ranunculus (on a stem or clip or brooch) the perfect beginning for an everlasting bunch of perfect flowers.
