We love those cosy nights in, with soft lighting, reading in bed or on the sofa under a blanket. It's been proven that lighting can have a calming effect on your mood and warm lighting creates a comforting and cosy atmosphere.
In this workshop you will get to create and play with air dry clay and when it comes to homewares it's such a great technique to know as you can really customise these handmade clay lamps without the need for a kiln.
During this session you will be working with air dry clay and we will talk you through some techniques and tips to achieve smooth finishes, and even rolling of your clay.
We will work with you step by step to create these cylindrical shapes for our lights and with the left over clay we will make a little trinket dish to match you lamp. We will also show you how to create that sought after speckled painted look.

Polymer clay is a versatile medium that allows you to craft unique and festive pieces. In this workshop, you'll discover techniques, tips, and how to design and create textures in polymer clay to produce eye poppingly porfessioal results!
If you don't have pierced ears don't worry we've got you covered too - but do let us know so we can be prepared for you!
During this workshop you'll learn the basics of how to manipulate and condition polymer clay and work it into an intricate design, then we'll cover moulding and sculpting showing how turn a piece of clay into a pair of very contemporary earrings and we will end the class with practical know how of how to add detail and texture to your earrings. Given all the detail covered in this class You will only make the one pair but you will learn so much! This type of clay will have to be baked once you get home, and then assembled, but no fear, we will give you thorough instructions on how to finish off your masterpieces and give you the glue and earring findings you will need to finish this off as well as packaging everything for you safe and secure to take home.
