Take some super-soft yarn, a bit of expert guidance and just the right amount of love and you’ve got yourself the cosiest socks this side of the North Pole. Utilising your knit, purl and cast on skills, you will learn how to make these snuggly socks (although in our online class you will make a mini version of the sock) learning how to knit the gusset, shape the heel and toe and finally cast off with kitchener stitch.

You will receive the pattern for both the mini version of the socks and the adult size.

Once you’ve got the hang of the technique, it’s a piece of cake and we suspect you’ll find yourself hooked. Thick socks, ankle socks, footie socks, slipper socks, sock puppets… we could go on.

Fun Fact about socks: One of the earliest known examples of knitting (formed on two sticks by pulling loops through loops) were a pair of cotton socks found in Egypt from the first millennium A.D.
