Party Booking Terms and Conditions

  1. Bookings
  • Bookings will be considered provisional until a deposit is paid.
  • Provisional bookings will be held for 24 hours and then released. It is your responsibility to pay within this time frame.
  • Any changes to a booking must be agreed and confirmed by both parties in writing.
  • Minimum numbers per booking is 10 people (Saturday) and 8 people (Sunday) unless previously agreed in writing with Tea & Crafting.
  • Final numbers only need to be confirmed 4 weeks before the event. This is when the final amount of the payment is required.
  • Only paying guests are permitted to attend.
  • Extra numbers may be added any time before the event with confirmation in writing from customer.
  • Payment must be made in full for any extra guests added on before the event starts.
  1. Deposit
  • Upon confirmation of a booking a deposit of £100 is required to secure the booking.
  • The deposit is non-refundable.
  • Final balance payment is due 4 weeks prior to the event date.
  • The £100 deposit will be taken off your final amount which is paid 4 weeks before your event. 
  1. Cancellations
  • If any member of your party cancel within 4 weeks before the event no refund is given to that person.
  • If the total event is cancelled within 4 weeks of the event date, you will forfeit the full booking cost.
  • In the rare circumstance that an event is cancelled by us due to circumstances beyond our control, a full refund will be offered.
  • Tea & Crafting accepts no liability for losses incurred through venue instigated event cancellation.
  1. Health and Safety
  • No smoking is permitted at Tea & Crafting.
  • Please be aware that you will be required to walk up a flight of stairs to our studio.
  1. Security
  • We have a security camera that is operated 24/7 in the venue. Video footage is stored for 4 weeks and then deleted.
  • We will not share this video information to any third person party unless legal action is required.
  1. Facilities
  • Wifi is available onsite. Please ask your workshop host for the password when you arrive.
  • We also have tea and coffee facilities and chilled mineral water available at all times.  
  • If anyone in your party has any dietary requirements, it is your responsibility to inform us.
  • We cannot guarantee that any of our cakes are nut free.
  • You are very welcome to bring any extra food and drinks that you wish, but it is your responsibility to bring disposable glasses and plates that you may need for this food and drink.
  • You are also welcome to drop off any extra items you require for your party prior to the date of your party. Please only do so when you can see that there is a class running via our calendar on the website, or during the day time when you have confirmation of our presence in the studio.
  • Also please be aware that we do not have a fridge. 
  1. Room Hire
  • If you hire our venue you will be required to pay a refundable deposit of £100.
  • The deposit is returned to you within a week after the date of your event.
  • Please ensure you leave our venue at the agreed and paid for time. If you stay beyond the booked time, we reserve the right to deduct this from your room hire deposit.
  • We have kept our rental rate low and do not charge a cleaning fee. In order to do this please ensure you leave the room clean and tidy with all rubbish put away in the bin and the bin bag must be tied. No food can be left out on the table or on the floor as we may have a class after your party
  • Any liquids must be poured down the basin and not left out.
  1. Room Decoration
  • Please only use white-tac and washi tape if taping anything to our walls.
  • Please do not remove our decorations in any circumstances unless agreed with a member of staff.
