Have you always wanted to learn how to make your own Terrazo style Jesmonite coasters that are taking over interior design feeds?
Jesmonite is a versatile material, made from a compound and a water-based resin that will create a different effect each and every time, its hard to make two completely identical. The best thing to note about this product is that its safe and non toxic and extremely environmentally friendly too!
Create your own Jesmonite coasters at home with a Terrazo style effect or marble effect. You will learn both techniques and choose to try them out both or just stick with one.
We'll educate you on what the correct measurement of each component is, how to weigh it, mix it, add colours and textural effects to create one of a kind unique Jesmonite coasters. This knowledge will see you through all your Jesmonite making projects.
You will make a pair of coasters in the workshop and we will also show you how to sand your coasters and seal them to make them spill proof as well as pass on our tried and tested tips. You'll finish your coasters by adding some lovely cork pads to add to the bottom of your coasters for that shop bought look!
And if you're feeling generous - they do make rather good gifts! We have lots of tips on how to personalise your coasters for that extra special touch.

Everything you need is provided for you to use in the class and you will be able to choose from a range of Jesmonite pigments to dye your base colour as well choose the colour chips you would like to incorporate into your coasters.
