Our vouchers can be used on any workshop across the site and are automatically delivered by email with instructions to redeem them at checkout. Vouchers are valid for 12 months (however classes can be booked for a date that is beyond the 12 month period). We know that sometimes gift cards are bought with a workshop in mind, however in the event that the workshop ceases to run, you will not be eligible for a refund. However we have an extensive range of workshops and are always adding so we hope that something tempts you!

Would you like a physical voucher?
We now have the option of a physical gift card! Please let us know that you'd like one of these at the time of booking, if we don't get a message we will assume you prefer to send your voucher via email. Also please bear in mind that the last day for Christmas posting is 19th of December.

You might have finally accepted the fact that you’ll never be able to bake cookies as well as your Granny, and you know that you simply haven’t been around long enough to have as many amazing stories to tell as she does – but one thing you can successfully do as well as dear Grandma is to learn to crochet a granny stripe blanket (similar technique to crochet granny squares but slightly easier as you work in rows back and forth).

Do I Need to Bring Anything:
No you don't. Your crochet kit consisting of colourful yarn, a pattern, crochet guide and a crochet hook you take home with you to keep crafting. 

All our workshops include unlimited tea, coffee and cupcakes. If you require gluten free or vegan sweet treats please let us know! 

Amigurumi is the Japanese word which describes small knitted or crocheted stuffed toys, often in the shape of animals, cute characters, mini foods, household objects and more. In this class we are showing you how to crochet this cute bear! Your bear will measure approximately 20cm when made up. Please note that you will not be able to finish the entire bear in the session but you will learn all the skills that you need to do so! You will start the bear in the class.

Amigurumi dolls are big news in Japan and quite frankly we aren’t surprised – cute, dinky and each one with buckets of personality. Make like the Tokyo cool-kids and learn the basics of Amigurumi in this lesson.

This session is perfect for expanding those crochet skills as you will learn:

• To crochet in the round
• Crochet invisible increase and decrease typical of Amigurumi so you can follow any pattern in the future
• Learn how to crochet the using the single crochet stitch (US) / double crochet (UK) 
• Learn how to read Amigurumi patterns

Improvers - You do need to know basic crochet techniques. Try our beginners virtual or in-person crochet classes first. Details here

What You Receive:
We will receive your own little crochet kit containing:

• Ball of wool - enough wool to crochet your bear and at least one more! That is 2 bears in total
  
• Crochet hook 
• Embroidery floss for your bear's eyes with the option of choose toy eyes if you prefer.
  
• A bag filled with toy stuffing to make your bear extra squishy
• Instructional booklet with the exclusive bear pattern
• We will also provide you with a host of information on where to find some free patterns, some great amigurumi websites and inspiration!
